One more summer day… many things we want to do in summertime, don’t we?
Although we aim at doing loads of things, some of them never fail: resting, enjoying time with friends, going to the beach or the swimming pool, visiting new places or even the places we already know… doing all the things we don’t do during the school year because we don’t have much time.
In my case, during the school year, I have my homework to do, piano, guitar, singing, composition, Russian to study and music in general…it hardly leaves me any free time. That’s why I try to make the most of the summer, as it was yesterday.
I woke up very early in the morning and went to the beach 🏖 which is about 40 minutes away by car. While I was in the car, both on the way and back, I was reading Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix, the fifth book in the Harry Potter series. I finished the book. I was so happy. The series is super cool and … in another post I’ll talk about Harry Potter!
The day was great, on the coast it wasn’t as hot as in Granada and luckily there’s not much left of the summer heat wave.
The sea was very calm, with practically no waves. I had to mull it over before entering the water, it was cold 😀. I had a lot of fun, the beach is a place where you can do many things.
Around 1:30pm we went home. After lunch, rest and two episodes of The Worst Witch, I started studying the guitar, new pieces and pieces I am preparing for my next concert in Croatia.
And the day wasn’t over yet! I went out with my father on a bicycle 🚴, I had been thinking about riding the bike all summer and until today I haven’t been able to do it. In fact, we had to breathe on the wheels of the bike. It was a short ride, about 16 km.
And I still had time to continue with a Lego, I already finished, ufff, it took me time to finish it.
And so was my day. I don’t always get to do everything I want, but yesterday I was happy for everything I was able to do.
