Hello Croatia!

Until a few weeks ago it was impossible to think that I would travel to Croatia to play in a concert, competition or festival. Why do I say it was impossible? I’ve always thought of countries like Russia, France, Germany, Italy or Eastern Europe’s, but never of Croatia.

To my surprise and joy, it is already confirmed that I will be in Croatia! I have been invited to participate in the XIII Epidaurus Festival which will be held in breathtakingly splendid Cavtat.

I will participate in the festival in the section of young talents. I will do a piano, classical guitar and singing recital in the birthplace of one of the most famous Croatian painters, Vlaho BUKOVAC (1855-1922). The house is now a museum and has been reopened to the public since 2004. The concert is foreseen on September 15 at 20.00.

I will take advantage of this weekend to visit Cavtat and take some brushstrokes from Croatia because I know very little about the country. Let’s see … I know that it is very close to Italy, separated by the Adriatic Sea, and my mother told me it is a beautiful country, especially the part bathed by the waters of the Adriatic Sea.

I will tell you about the trip and the things I liked about Cavtat. Also my recital, which is the main reason for my visit.

Thanks for reading and Vidimo se uskoro!
