The XVI “Poetry in the Laurel” International Festival 2019 has come to an end and left me a beautiful experience. It was my first participation in the festival, not only as part of the musical programme but also as part of the audience.
Three nights full of poetry, music and peace, where I listened to several poets from different countries of the world. Some reached me more than others… it depends on how their poems were recited. Yes, I admit that I still have a lot to learn.
I was very enthusiastic on the first night of the festival when I saw a fragment of Federico García Lorca’s play, La casa de Bernalda Alba. The performance was great, and, as I was so small, I decided to stand.
On the last night, the closing night, I played three pieces of classical music by Chopin, Chopin-Liszt and Granados at the piano. Another reason to feel even happier, if possible.
The festival helped me to get to know great people with whom I hope to keep in touch. Also, for an interview on the radio that I will tell you about another day.
Thanks for Reading!
